Jersey Shore actor suing Abercrombie & Fitch

Jersey Shore actor Mike Sorrentino, also known as The Situation, took his ongoing feud with Abercrombie & Fitch to another level.

Sorrentino was offered money by Abercrombie & Fitch three months ago. The retailer wanted to give him money so he would stop wearing their clothes. The Situation took his feud with the retailer to another level when he filed a lawsuit against the company. A&F made it clear back in August that they did not want their brand associated with The Situation, according to TMZ. They actually went public with the whole thing. Lawyers, on behalf of The Situation’s company, filed the lawsuit in Florida. They are seeking $4 million from the clothing company, according to Entertainment Weekly. The basis of the lawsuit comes down to two main things, one of them being that Abercrombie’s cash offer was just a PR move to make money off of The Situation. The other point is that trademarks such as “The Situation” and “GTL” were violated when they were put on T-shirts. The New York Daily News reported that The Situation may actually be in the midst of financial problems. Snooki (real name Nicole Polizzi) said that The Situation has money woes. She went onto say that she saved a lot of her money because she wanted to support herself when the TV show goes off the air. Snooki said that Mike is broke and she is not going to spend all of her cash like he ended up doing.
