article imageSinger Avril Lavigne and boyfriend jumped by a gang of five

By Joan Firstenberg     Nov 7, 2011 in Entertainment
Los Angeles - Avril Lavigne and her boyfriend Brody Jenner were just leaving the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel early Saturday when they were allegedly attacked by five people, "out of nowhere". Avril claims her face is "f----ed up". Jenner suffered a gash to his head.
The night started off well enough. Jenner tweeted Avril ,
"Having the best night with the love of my life @AvrilLavigne so happy right now!"
The tweet included photos of the two of them kissing as well. But after that things turned very sour.
The Huffington Post reports that The 27-year old Avril describes what happened on her Twitter page.
"I don't fight. I don't believe in it. To clear things up I got attacked by 5 people last night out of nowhere. Not cool. My face is fucked."
Although it was first reported that her boyfriend, 28-year old Brody, was the only one who spoke to the police, and they listed Brody as the victim of an assault with a deadly weapon, Avril made it known that she was injured as well.
Again, on Twitter, she posted her injuries.
"As in black eye, bloody nose, hair ripped out, scratches, bruises and cuts. So not okay to be abusive to others. Violence is NEVER the answer."
TMZ reports that it is not yet clear who the attackers were on whether the police have any leads. And an LAPD spokesman cannot confirm the alleged fight.
Jenner, a former star of MTV's "The Hills", was seen leaving with a gash on his head after a bottle was smashed against it while he was trying to break up the melee. He tweeted,
"Interesting Saturday night. Just got of the hospital with a new scar on my face. Charges/chargers!!!"
