A British man is facing charges of pushing a Ukrainian prostitute from a first floor hotel window, leaving her with permanent disabilities. He also faces charges of drinking and having consensual sex. His victim faces charges of having unmarried sex.
A Ukrainian prostitute was allegedly pushed from a first floor hotel window by a British salesman. Plunging 20ft down, the naked woman landed on top of a car, saving her from death. A hotel receptionist testified in court that "She was petrified and hurt… she was completely naked and asked me to call the rescue teams. She said a crazy man threw her from the window of Room 105." The incident happened in the Middle East emirate of Dubia. The British man charged with the assault is identified only as ZA by the Gulf Press but the Daily Mail names him as Zoubair Ali, 37. If convicted by the Dubia Criminal Court he faces 10 years in prison.
Zoubair has allegedly broken many Dubia laws. It is illegal to drink alcohol, to have extra-marital sex, and to pay prostitutes. It is alleged that Zoubair was drunk at the time of the incident and in addition to charges of assault is facing charges of consuming alcohol and having consensual sex. The 36-year-old victim also faces charges of having unmarried sex and prostitution. (Emirates 247)
Forensic doctor Sahar Ahmad testified that the victim suffered injuries and fractures. She will be left with 30 percent permanent disabilities as a result of the fall. The prostitute testified that she had had sex with the accused who then assaulted her over a dispute over her fee.
Zoubair was caught trying to escape from the hotel parking area in a drunken state. In court he denied having sex with the prostitute or assaulting her, but admitted he had been drinking.
