Reappearing on TBS' Conan O'Brien Show, Triumph the Insult Comic Dog visited the Occupy Wall Street movement and created an off-shoot movement of his own.
The Occupy Wall Street protesters were recently rewarded with toilet installations, as Huffington Post reported on Friday. The installations are intended to provide relief for the protesters and for the surrounding restaurants and businesses that have been inundated with bathroom requests, but the announcement also came on the heels of a visit to the Occupy Wall Street movement by potty-centric Triumph the Insult Comic Dog.
Reappearing on TBS' Conan O'Brien, Triumph the Insult Comic Dog was unleashed on the Occupy Wall Street crowd, infusing his poop-oriented humor into his coverage of the events and of the people composing the anti-capitalist movement.
"Occupy Wall Street, here at East Infection Park at the corner of Hurts When I Pee Boulevard, we are out here with a group of people who are protesting our country's history of allowing corporate greed to go unpunished," Triumph began. "And as you can see from the crowd, many here are also protesting our country's long history of proper hygiene."
The Occupy Wall Street movement has begun to present a number of challenges to the authorities, with violent clashes emerging among anarchists at Occupy Oakland and with thorny courtroom trial requests and challenges put forward by the Occupy Wall Street previously arrested, as Bloomberg reported.
"What happens if the police come in here," Triumph asked of a protester. "It's going to be a serious blood bath, or even worse for you, a regular bath. You see, because you're filthy."
After having little luck speaking with Wall Street bankers and executives, Triumph the Insult Comic Dog decided to disguise himself as Fox News' Geraldo Rivera, who, as The Atlantic notes, is universally loathed by the Occupy Wall Street protesters.
"Excuse me, Geraldo Rivera, Fox News," Triumph addresses a police officer, standing at a barricade surrounding the Wall Street bull statue. "Can you tell me why the bull is barricaded, why the public has no access to the bull? Please. I just need access to his testicles. Please, I'm Geraldo Rivera. Just one sniff."
