Los Angeles - A 20-year-old California woman has filed a paternity suit against the pint-sized pop icon Justin Bieber claiming the singer impregnated her while she was backstage after a concert last year at the Staples Center.
Mariah Yeater contends Bieber is the father of her three-month-old son and wants the court to order a paternity test to "scientifically confirm" her claims, reports Radar Online.
Star Magazine is reporting that in an affidavit signed by Yeater "she stated under penalty of perjury a security guard working for Bieber approached her and asked if she wanted to meet Justin Bieber before whisking her backstage." Yeater claims the two met Oct. 25, 2010, after his performance in Los Angeles.
Bieber's reps have denied the incident and said in a statement to Radar Online: "While we haven't yet seen the lawsuit, it's sad that someone would fabricate malicious, defamatory, and demonstrably false claims. We will vigorously pursue all available legal remedies to defend and protect Justin against these allegations."
The Bieber team claims the rumors are baseless and say they haven't received a copy of the court documents that were reportedly filed October 31.
The exclusive story with all the sordid details of the alleged tryst is scheduled to be released Thursday. In the upcoming article Star Magazine reports, Yeater claims the she and Bieber went into a private restroom backstage where the two "made love." Yeater says it was Bieber's first time and he refused to wear a condom.
Bieber is currently dating singer and actress Selena Gomez. The teen superstar couple recently announced they had adopted a husky-mix puppy together.
Star Magazine says a hearing on the paternity suit is scheduled for December 15. Yeater has asked the court "to provide adequate support for her newborn baby."
