Canton - Residents of an apartment complex in Canton, Ms are facing possible eviction after appearing and posting their rap video on YouTube.
According to WLOX, WBTV and TVDeck, the group "2 Gutta" and other residents of Canton Estates Apartments were given eviction notices after being identified by managers of the complex in a YouTube video.
Attorney Damon Stevenson who is representing the tenants says, "we believe the apartment complex has a problem with the mere fact the video was shot on the premises. From the contractual agreements we've seen that's not a violation of any lease agreement."
The attorney also states that his clients have not broken any lease agreement.
The tenants and apartment managers will meet for a hearing on October 25.
