At the age of 89, actress Betty White has teamed up with singer Luciana in the making of a rap video, and a portion of the proceeds will go toward the Los Angeles Zoo.
White, who will be 90 in January, teamed up with Luciana Caporaso for a remix of the English singer's song "I'm Still Hot."
White appears in the video with Luciana, shirtless young men and a boa constrictor from the Los Angeles Zoo.
“Music videos are not necessarily close to my heart, but animals always are," White told Fox. "I’m always comfortable with them. My beloved husband, Allen Ludden, when we would have a photo shoot he would always put a dog in my lap. They would have to shoot me from the neck up, but I’d always be so relaxed.”
She is a member of the zoo's board of directors and has raised millions of dollars for it.
She did find the video shoot very enjoyable.
“It’s a switch for me I will tell you, but it’s fun and they gave me these nice young men to work with that are built like little brick houses,” she said. “It’s challenging, but the boys are being so dear with me."
White's real voice was used on the final track, with her having lines such as, "I'm living life at the top. Guess what? I'm still hot."
The Lifeline Program, a life settlement company, sponsored the video, which will be available for purchase on iTunes, with a large portion of the proceeds going to the Los Angeles Zoo.
Earlier this year White's book If You Ask Me (And Of Course You Won't) , focusing on the past 15 years of her life, was released.
