A movie trailer created for a French film contest that portrays Osama bin Laden's return as a zombie is creating a fuss on the Internet as the disturbing video continues to spread.
The gory zombie-themed film trailer was produced by French filmmakers for a Panic Reverse
contest that included the creation of movie posters, short films and trailers for each participants dream movie. It was released over the weekend and has went viral in just a few days.
The trailer, filmed on the French island of
Belle-Île-en-Mer at a
cost of $11,000, features zombies eating brains, blood, sex, violence, murder, and piercing screams. It shows the undead Al-Qaeda leader as his body is pulled from the sea by vacationers on a yacht. The young couple soon find out Zombin Laden's true identity and attempt to thwart his master plan to seek revenge on the world as a zombie by offering him a virgin.
The faux film trailer says an angry Osama bin Laden 'is back' and more evil then ever. Now someone has to kill him -- again, says the filmmakers.
Many have found the video
distasteful, while other zombie fans have embraced the comedy horror theme as the ultimate answer to the question of what really happened to
Osama bin Laden after Navy Seals raided his compound in Pakistan on their mission to kill him.
The film trailer leaves little to the imagination of what would life be like if the 'world's most famous dead man' came back to life as a zombie.
