At least 19 passengers and crew of a small tourist plane were reported killed as the aircraft they were boarding crashes while on sight seeing tour in Nepal
The aircraft was on its way to the Nepalese capital after viewing Mount Everest when the tragic incident happened. One passenger was reportedly rescued alive but died later in the hospital.
Among the fatalities were 10 Indians, two Americans, six Nepalese, a Japanese and the three-man crew of the privately-operated aircraft.
According to a CNN report quoting a police spokesman, the aircraft hit a mountain and broke into pieces about 12 kilometers from the airport.
All bodies of the victims were recovered from the crash site by the ground search team, according to Reuters quoting a police spokesman.
There have been reports of small plane accidents in Nepal while on sightseeing tours of the world-famous Mount Everest.
Last year a small tourist aircraft carrying 22 passengers crashed in a remote area eastern Nepal. All passengers of the plane on board were killed
