"We have really good images of you. It's only a matter of time before you are arrested," Constable Tony Vella stated as a direct message to a bank robber in Toronto during a phone interview.
Vella said that the 5'6"-5'9" man has been on a crime spree since May of this year, hitting 15 banks across the entire city.
"He's hit banks in all of Toronto- east, west, south and north," Vella said clearly upset at this man's actions. "While no one has been injured at this point physically each victim has faced emotionally trauma. We are very concerned about the suspect's violent nature."
According to police reports the man enters his targeted bank approaching a teller. He indicates that he has a handgun and demands cash. Each time he has been handed a quantity of cash and gotten away.
Vella said the man has yet to show his weapon.
The suspect's image has been run through Canadian law enforcement databases with no results.
"It's very possible that he is new to the country," Vella said adding that he has no accent. "He is in and out of the banks within minutes. He knows what he's doing."
