We all experience young love throughout our lives, but unfortunately for Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez, their relationship has come to an abrupt end.
According to the
Metro, the 19-year-old Texan felt Bieber was too immature for a relationship. After all, the pop sensation is only 17, so maybe it's best for Bieber and Gomez to live their lives before settling down.
It has been reported that
Gomez was unhappy about Justin's friendship with Chris Brown and Sean Kingston, while she also found out he'd been texting his ex, Jasmine Villegas.
A friend of Selena's told the
Daily Star: "The big headline-grabbing romance is over. All Selena wants to be now is friends.
"She doesn't feel Justin is quite mature enough yet to be in a long-term, stable relationship. She's in the market for someone a little older and more worldly-wise."
Gomez was recently spotted flirting with Shia LaBeouf - a 25-year-old actor best known for his role in the Transformers.
Selena's friend added: “He could be the one. She’s certainly very interested and they have been in contact a few times.”
