Ames - Just moments after the opening of the GOP debate in Ames, Iowa, Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann sends a clear and direct message to President Barack Obama.
The Republican presidential aspirant ended her opening statement with a strong phrase directed against the president, "You are finished in 2012," says Bachmann.
Bachmann elaborated on how she can turn America's economy around in one quarter, despite the notions that her claim is too unrealistic at this economic point. Bachmann also criticized the Obama administration's move to increase the debt ceiling.
An earlier poll released by Rasmussen Reports indicate that Bachmann is a favorite of Republicans in Iowa. The poll results show that Bachmann, who garnered 22 percent, leads fellow Republicans and strong candidates Mitt Romney and Ron Paul (21 and 16 percent respectively) among Republican Iowa Caucus.
Apart from Bachmann, other Republican presidential aspirants present include Romney, Paul, Tim Pawlenty, Herman Cain, Jon Huntsman, Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum
