article imageOp-Ed: Group supporting Putin urge women to strip for an iPad 2

Moscow - Although it's not quite President Obama's "Yes We Can" campaign, a group supporting Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin are urging women to strip off for the chance to win an iPad 2.
Why? Well, nobody seems to know how videos of scantily clad women will possibly help Putin's cause ahead of Russia's 2012 presidential vote, unless, of course, they are targeting a niche set of voters.
With that being said, the video features a woman using lipstick to write "I'll tear for Putin" on a white shirt, before her friend exposes a shiny iPad 2.
It's not the first time Putin has been at the center of controversy either.
Back in 2010, a group of journalism students from Moscow State University released a raunchy calendar to celebrate his birthday - a story reported by Digital Journal's very own Lynn Curwin and Subir Ghosh.
