article imageTiger Woods to play in charity event with former teammate

By Leo Reyes     Jul 16, 2011 in Sports
World's most popular golfer Tiger Woods is reported to be considering a charity game with former Stanford teammate Notah Begay even while nursing a knee injury. The charity event was slated about a week ago but was postponed till about end of next month.
Woods has not yet confirmed his participation but he is expected to play as the event will not take place until August 31 and he will have more time to nurse his injury. Besides it won't be a competitive game as it is merely staged to raise funds for charity.
Begay has already disclosed Woods' participation but the popular golfer has yet to confirm.
Woods has not won any major event since 2009 after his marital spat with former wife Elin Nordegren in a controversy stemming from his alleged sexual involvement with at least 10 different women including a porn star.
The popular golfer's marriage to Nordegren ended in a separation last year. Before the couple parted ways, Woods sought professional help and was admitted in a rehab center for reported sex addiction therapy.
After about a year of separation, Nordegren has reportedly found a new boyfriend who was later identified as Jamie Dingman, son of billionaire Michael Dingman.
Dingman has been linked to Tom Brady's ex, Bridget Moynahan and Princess Madeleine of Sweden
