The job offer came in the form of a letter that Flynt sent to the former congressman right after
Weiner resigned.
The letter said that Flynt wanted to offer Weiner a job at his company, in the internet department, according to
TMZ.
Flynt wanted to show Weiner that he was serious about the job offer and told Weiner, in the letter, that he was willing to pay Weiner 20% more than what he was being paid as a congressman. Not only that but Flynt also reassured Weiner that his medical benefits would be just as good as the benefits he was receiving as congressman.
This is not the
first job offer that Flynt has made to a politician. Earlier this year, back in October, Fylnt offered Carl Paladino a job. Paladino made national headlines after pornographic photos started to make their rounds on the internet and even found their way to friends and colleagues of Paladino.
Weiner also received a job offer from the executive producer of Entourage, Doug Ellin, according to
Politico.
Ellin wanted Weiner to appear on the final season of Entourage. Ellin wanted Weiner to just play himself, but Weiner has not responded to Ellin’s job offer yet.
