A semi-professional soccer match came to a sudden halt this past weekend, after the players were victims of an insect "invasion."
Rowdy supporters are usually involved when we hear that dreaded word. After all, who else can invade a soccer match?
There were very few supporters on hand as Corumbaense squared off against Itapora, leaving a swarm of angry bees to launch an unprovoked attack on the Brazilian teams.
An Itapora player was the first to fall (no pun intended) victim, only seconds before the entire pitch (including the referee) followed.
