article imageOp-Ed: Peddling the Islamic menace

By Alexander Baron     May 28, 2011 in Crime
A slightly tongue-in-cheek article concerning a scare story about the grooming of young white girls in the North of England by "those wicked Moslems".
Grooming scandal – MEP exposes ‘sickening cover-up’ by Home Office is the title of a worrying article in a recent political broadsheet. Apparently, “Thousands of English, Sikh and Afro-Caribbean girls, some of them as young as 12, are having their lives and families destroyed [by] ’a tsunami of sexual abuse’...”
As if that isn’t bad enough, nothing is being done about it, or will be done, because the authorities are so hamstrung by political correctness that they are too frightened to act against the perpetrators – Muslims.
This will undoubtedly come as a shock to those who thought Islamic criminality was limited to suicide bombing and the occasional honour killing, but not to the readers of the latest issue of The Voice Of Freedom.
This article is in fact the latest in a long series of polemics directed against Britain’s Moslems, who it seems are intent not only on building a mosque in every town but in infiltrating every secondary school, primary school, and perhaps even every nursery. A series of videos has also been produced by the same people who publish The Voice Of Freedom, and in its introduction, the producer claims not only is this menace growing but that the police in particular have been responsible for covering up if not suppressing the true nature of the menace of Moslem grooming gangs.
The beginning of the current manufactured furore can be traced to former Home Secretary Jack Straw who in January this year as MP for Blackburn said there was a culture amongst some men of Pakistani origin who regarded white girls as “easy meat”. This came in the wake of the trial of two men, Mohammed Liaqat and Abid Saddique, for offences against under-age girls, including rape. Curiously, after their conviction at Nottingham Crown Court, one of the investigating officers, DCI Alan Edwards, said there was a culture of silence relating to what he referred to as Asian gangs, which does rather undermine the claim that the police are in on this conspiracy.
Opinion is divided as to the extent of what is a very real problem, although it appears to be worst in the North of England. Opinion is divided too as to how to deal with the problem, though in view of the recent manufactured controversy over the remarks made by Justice Secretary Kenneth Clarke concerning sentences for (repentant) rapists, there is perhaps an Islamic solution.
In 2005, Saudi Arabia, an Islamic theocracy, beheaded a Saudi and a Yemeni national who had kidnapped a woman, stole her money and jewelry, and raped her.
In September last year, the Saudis executed Abdullah bin Mohsen bin Ayish Al-Mohammadi for raping a housewife, badly beating her and stealing her mobile phone.
More recently, two men were hanged in Iran after being convicted of rape; Iran too is an Islamic theocracy. Rape is a comparatively rare offence in Islamic countries, so perhaps the solution to “Moslem gangs” who prey on young girls is “Moslem punishments” – although it is doubtful if the publishers of The Voice Of Freedom newspaper would go that far.
