article imageKutcher to last just a year on 'Two and a Half Men'?

According to various reports, the new star of the hit sitcom, Ashton Kutcher, has only signed a one-year contract, leading people to question if he is a mere short-term fix.
CNN reports that CBS have hinted that the new star of 'Two and a Half Men' may only last a year.
The new replacement for Charlie Sheen will earn almost $20 million from this one-year deal, which is slightly less than his predecessor.
Reports from Hollywood suggest this deal is restricted to just a year in case things don't work out with Kutcher, 33.
According to Metro, both Warner Bros. and CBS bosses are praying that Kutcher will star in the show for at least two or three more years.
It remains to be seen whether the Twitter star - with over six million followers - will maintain both the high ratings and critical acclaim that Sheen managed to sustain for eight long years.
Experts predict that with such a big online influence Kutcher will attract a more younger and bigger fan base for the prime time sitcom, paving the way for 'Two and a Half Men' to continue for many years to come.
