article imageObama's limo hits speed bump, but pint of Guinness saves the day

By Christopher Bates     May 23, 2011 in Politics
Dublin - While Barack Obama is probably the most stylish president in United States history, his trip to Ireland didn't start as smoothly as the pint of Guinness he later indulged in.
President Obama's £300,000 ($483,510) limo took the streets of Ireland today, where he commenced his week-long trip around Europe.
Despite eight inches of titanium, bullet proof glass, a sealed ventilation system to prevent chemical attacks, a night vision camera and armed guards; his limo was defeated by an unforgiving Irish security ramp.
As the footage shows below, spectators watched on from outside the U.S. Embassy in Dublin, capturing the moment on their electronic devices.
A smooth pint of Guinness proved the cure to a somewhat embarrassing start to the day.....
