Edinburgh - A 40-year-old British man is being held by police after attempting to open the emergency exit during an easyJet flight to Edinburgh.
Although the man's intent is still unclear, he was reading the plane's safety instructions, detailing the procedure to open the cabin door.
The flight had only just left Krakow, Poland, before making an emergency landing at Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam.
As soon as the troublesome man grabbed his rucksack and reached for the door handle, eastJet staff and fellow passengers wrestled him to the ground.
Thankfully, nobody was left injured.
