article imageUS talking to Bin Laden's wives

Anderson Cooper revealed on his CNN show 360 that United States authorities have been able to meet with the three wives of Bin Laden that Pakistan has been in custody of since the May 1 death of the terrorist.
According to the breaking news reports the eldest wife is the spokeswomen for the group.
Unlike standard U.S. interrogation policies all of the women are together while the questioning took place. Pakistani authorities have also been in the room while the U.S. questioned the women. Osama Bin Laden had 5 wives but only three were at the compound at the time of his death.
In most cases security authorities would interview subjects separately in order to find any answers that may not measure up with others among those being questioned. In this case standard practices are being closely watched by those in charge in the Pakistani government.
Anderson reported that the women were hostile to the Americans questioning them. It is also reported that Bin Laden did not have an escape plan from the compound leading to experts believing that he he had grown complacent and was not afraid of being found.
