article image$10,000 reward offered for missing Pearl Gavaghan Da Massa

When a child is missing a parent's worse nightmare becomes a way of life. For Hollywood Henry Da Massa of the UK that nightmare began on December 9, 2008 when his daughter Pearl Gavaghan Da Massa and her mother boarded a plane for Cancun, Mexico.
Little Pearl's father had joint custody. When her mother Helen Gavaghan took her away from her home in England she severed the bond between father and daughter. The High Court has deemed that Pearl’s removal from England was unlawful.
Since leaving England Helen and little Pearl, now 8-years-old, have lived with assumed names. Helen is known to have gone by Meta International or Dana Flaherty and Pearl has been called Belle Flaherty.
The mother and daughter were known as Dana Flaherty and Belle when they lived in Toronto for about a year. The mother homeschooled Pearl in the Parkdale area before she was 'spooked' and vanished again.
Toronto Police believe that there is a possibility they may be in Vancouver, Canada.
The Missing Children Society of Canada (MCSC) is currently offering a reward of $10,000 for any information leading to Pearl’s whereabouts.
