A new billboard in Toledo, Ohio is causing some controversy among area religious communities with it's message of "Being gay is a gift from God."
The billboard has been causing a buzz, especially in the Christian community. Many church teachings and principles believe that homosexuality is a sin.
"We really believe that being gay is a gift from God," Pastor Bill Barnard said. "It's not anything that anyone has to apologize for or be ashamed about. So that's how it came to be."

the United Methodist Church has long been debating, generally intensely, whether to allow gay clergy or same-sex marriages. The Church’s Constitution (Book of Discipline), forbids the ordination of homosexuals.
