Toronto - Toronto Police have arrested the owner of a general contracting company for criminally harassing and extorting a client this weekend.
According to a police report the suspect was hired by a female victim to complete renovations at her home. It is alleged that the work was substandard. The suspect is accused of criminally harassing and extorting the victim.
Barrington Anthony Sayers, also known as Anthony Sayers, has been charged with two counts of criminal harassment, attempting fraud under $5,000 and extortion.
Sayers is the owner and operator of a general contracting company called Anthony Sayers Custom Builder and Designer.
Police believe there may be other victims.
