Washington - Pastor Terry Jones, who last September caused an international uproar when he and his congregation decided they would burn the Koran on Sept. 11, has declared March 20 to be "International Judge the Koran Day."
In an interview with Randall Terry, Pastor Terry Jones says on March 20, "if found that it is not a book of peace, the Koran will be punished." He says, "the Koran will be drowned. The Koran will be burned. The Koran will be shredded or the Koran will face a firing squad."
The statement was made at a recent anti-Shariah law demonstration in front of the White House.
During the protest the anti-Muslim protesters came upon a Muslim man praying. The mob immediately began to surround him and taunt him by chanting Christian prayers. The crowd shouted insults concerning Islam at him and at one point his life was even threatened.
It was later revealed to the mob that the man who continued to pray despite the harassment was praying for their families to be blessed.
In the video, Randall Terry states that he is the founder of Operation Rescue, however a disclaimer on its website states, "Randall Terry is not associated with nor does he speak for Operation Rescue."
