Nagpur - England will look to give their World Cup campaign a winning start as they take on Netherlands in the fifth game of the tournament at Nagpur.
The sixth game of the World Cup will see England play Netherlands at the VCA Ground in Nagpur. It will be the first game for both the sides and they will look to make a winning start to the tournament.
England will look to avoid the result of the last big occasion when they took on the Dutch side. Netherlands had overcome England in the opening encounter of the World T20 in England and this game would act as sweet revenge for the English. Or at least they would hope it does.
England's new opening batsman Kevin Pietersen has already written in his column that he would hope for a thumping win from this game. That said, it will be interesting to see if the Dutch side goes the same way as some of the other minnows in the competition who have been laid low by the better sides in the competition.
Netherlands will depend on Ryan ten Doeschate, an all-rounder who seems to have taken the world by storm. With an IPL contract to boot, he will be a player to watch out for against a side where he often plies his trade as a first-class cricketer.
England should win this but it may not be on a canter.
