Four facing numerous kidnapping charges in Toronto

Toronto - On Friday, February 11 Toronto Police 51 Division Major Crime officers began investigating a kidnapping in Toronto. By the end of the night four were in custody and the victim was safe.
It was alleged that a male victim, 21, had been confronted and abducted by four males, two of which were armed with handguns during that afternoon.
The victim's family received a ransom demand. The police attempted to arrest the four males in the Sherbourne Street and Dundas Street East area but the suspects were able to flee on foot.
One of the suspects was arrested in front of 245 Sherbourne Street. The other three suspects ran to 257 Sherbourne Street where two of them forced their way into a first floor apartment. During the process the suspects assaulted the homeowners. The third suspect was arrested as he attempted to enter the unit. A loaded handgun was located on the arrested suspect.
One of the two suspects in the apartment ran out the back door where he was nabbed by the police. He was armed with a loaded handgun.
The remaining suspect barricaded himself inside the unit. He was removed from the home by the Emergency Task Force.
The victim was released unharmed.
Suspect #1, 19, of Toronto has been charged with kidnapping, forcible confinement, threatening death, threatening bodily harm, forcible entry and assault.
Suspect #2, 23, of Toronto has been charged with kidnapping, forcible confinement, threatening death, threatening bodily harm, forcible entry and two counts of assault, possession of a firearm knowing possession is unauthorized, possession of a prohibited firearm with ammunition, unauthorized possession of a firearm and several other charges.
Suspect #3, 16, of Toronto has been charged with kidnapping, forcible confinement, threatening death, threatening bodily harm, failure/refusal to comply Y.C.J.A. and possession of property obtained by crime.
Suspect #4, 16, of Toronto has been charged with kidnapping, forcible confinement, threatening death, threatening bodily harm, four counts of failure/refusal to comply Y.C.J.A. and several firearm charges.
