Oxford - A statue of an oxen outside a football stadium in Oxford, United Kingdom has been covered in bright pink paint by vandals.
The £25,000 bronze statue outside Kassam Stadium was covered in the bright paint between Saturday night and Sunday morning, according to the Oxford Mail.
A picture on the BBC News website shows the words "Gotta love art" and "RIP" sprayed on to the statue's plaque in black paint.
Oxford United chairman Kelvin Thomas said “We’ll do some work this week to see if we can get it back to its former glory, but it’s disappointing someone feels the need to express themselves in this way.”
