Teen wanted for vandalizing retirement home

Whitby - Durham Regional Police are asking for assistance from the public to identify a teen suspected of vandalizing a Whitby retirement home in December.
Several large windows were vandalized on December 29 at the "Amica at Whitby" retirement residence located on Kenneth Hobbs Avenue.
The crime resulted in glass shards being projected into the indoor pool used by the residents. The repairs and cleaning of the pool is estimated at $5,000.
The suspect is described as: male, white, 15-18-years-old, slender build, wearing a brown and green camouflage or cross-section patterned jacket with the hood up. The suspect was also wearing a blue knapsack with orange panels on the back and black trim on the bottom.
