article imageMysterious 'porn stalker' detained by police

Joliet - Chivalry may be dead, but stalking certainly is not. One Illinois man's attempt at courtship through pornography rather than love letters drew the wrong sort of attention.
Bradley E. Drew, 48, of 629 Warner Avenue in Rockdale was arrested by Joliet police on January 10, 2011 after an unnamed woman recently reported to local authorities suspicious, recurring activity that began on December 10, 2010, according to Joliet Herald-News.
It turns out, on several occasions, the victim returned to her car to find a pornographic magazine lying near or on her vehicle.
Once the activity was reported to police, the victim's car was placed under surveillance. Drew was surveyed around 3:30 p.m. Monday afternoon depositing one of these explicit magazines near the victim's car, which was parked in the lot of the Joliet Metro train station.
Drew was taken into police custody and booked into the Will County jail on charges of stalking, disorderly conduct and littering.
Drew admitted that he'd been "watching her for a long time" because he 'though she was pretty," according to reports from his interview with police.
The victim claims she never had any association with Drew.
