article imageHolly Madison surprised at Hugh Hefner’s engagement

By Lynn Herrmann     Jan 7, 2011 in Entertainment
Los Angeles - American model Holly Madison wants to make a real statement to Hugh Hefner about a proposed marriage to his new girlfriend, but she plans doing it Hollywood style, on her new reality TV show, and the statement is scheduled to air January 29 on E!
A bit teary-eyed over Hefner’s announcement, Madison said: “After I hear about it, I wanted to save my feelings for the show,” according to People.
According to reports, Hefner split with Madison in 2008 because he did not want to get married. A change of heart evidently occurred, and now the 84-year old Hefner plans to marry Crystal Harris, 24. Hefner became an eligible bachelor after his divorce from Kimberley Conrad in 2010.
Madison added: “I wanted to confront Hef and just get all my feelings out there rather than make a statement,” People quoted her.
Kendra Wilkinson, another Hefner ex, was not quite so surprised. “I wasn’t surprised by it. I knew he was really, really in love,” she told People. “When I heard that he officially split from Kim, I knew that was a sign,” she added.
Madison, meanwhile, is coping. “It was definitely awkward, but good,” the former star of Girls Next Door, said of the upcoming episode. She added: “A lot of people congratulated him on Twitter, but for me, it was such a personal thing. I wanted to go there,” People reported.
Her feelings are expected to be aired on E!’s Holly’s World, January 29.
