article imageHow are M&M's made?: Oddest 2010 job interview questions revealed

By Scott Campbell     Jan 3, 2011 in Business
A list of the oddest interview questions in 2010 has been published, including companies such as Google, Apple and Goldman Sachs.
According to GlassDoor.com, Goldman Sachs interviewers asked candidates: “If you were shrunk to the size of a pencil and put in a blender, how would you get out?"
At Google, confused applicants were asked how many basketballs would fit in the interview room, and recruiters at Volkswagen asked what the candidate would do if they inherited a pizzeria from their uncle.
Among some of the more difficult entries in the list were “how many traffic lights in Manhattan?” from Argus Information & Advisory Services and “if you had 5,623 participants in a tournament, how many games would need to be played to determine the winner?” from Amazon.
Candidates' answers to the questions can be viewed on the GlassDoor.com website.
