A woman's estranged partner is wanted by officials after she was found murdered by a crossbow in Darwin, Australia. She was found dead in her home and the house was also on fire.
Police were called to scene of a house on fire by worried residents, when they discovered that she had been killed by being shot with a crossbow. Neighbours called officials when they started having doubts about her welfare.
Denise Dean's estranged husband Lindsay Dean immediately went into a nearby bushland and had 20 police officers and two helicopters on the search for him, without any success of his whereabouts.
According to Northern Territory News, the two had separated in the previous 12 months, however Mr Dean still lived nearby.
Mrs Dean was described by neighbours as living a 'fairly quiet' life and not having many friends, she was on a disability pension and nearby residents were not able to believe how she had been murdered.
If Mr Dean is found, officials have warned people not to go near him, but to call 131 444 and tell them of his whereabouts.
