Queen Elizabeth has become a great grandmother after the birth of a baby girl to grandson Peter Phillips and his wife Autumn on Wednesday.
The baby is the first child for Peter and his wife Autumn. She weighed 8 pounds 8 ounces at birth. Phillips was present at the birth of his daughter at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.
The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Princess Royal, Captain Mark Phillips and Autumn’s family are all aware of the birth and said to be delighted with the news.
The still unnamed baby is twelfth in line to the Throne.
