Facebook users are turning to Twitter to vent their anger and frustration when the site goes offline. In 2010, several outages sparked a surge in tweets about the downtime.
According to news.com.au, the many tweets about outages show the degree of frustration Facebook users feel when the site suddenly goes down.
This year has been a great year for Facebook, being one of the the most visited websites in America and 500 million members have joined worldwide throughout the years.
Even thought the website facebook.com.au is down, the other applications it has on mobiles such as touch.facebook.com and www.beta.facebook.com are both working perfectly. Many users are expressing their anger by asking online on Twitter, why the site is not working for anyone.
