London - Angry protesters in London have reportedly attacked a car belonging to Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla. The protests began after British legislators agreed to increase tuition fees and cut the budgets of universities.
Digital Journal reported Thursday that violence engulfed London after a second protest broke out over a ruling to increase tuition fees and university budget cuts. There have been numerous reports of vandalism, injuries and clashes between protesters and police officers.
According to the Associated Press, the enraged demonstrators attacked vehicle belonging to the heir to the British Throne, Prince Charles, and his wife Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall.
A photographer belonging to the news outlet saw many protesters kick the car in the heart of London’s shopping district, Regent Street. The vehicle immediately sped away from the scene after it was given the approval of close protection officers, reports the Northern Echo.
Prince Charles’ office has not issued a statement to the situation nor have they responded to any media requests.
