Edmond - Two obese women used the folds of fat covering their stomachs to conceal merchandise at a TJ Maxx store in Edmond, Oklahoma.
Ailene Brown, 28, and Shmeco Thomas, 37, are facing felony shoplifting charges after $2,600 worth of goods were found on them. The ladies hid four pair of boots, a wallet, a pair of gloves and three pairs of jeans in between the fat folds on their stomachs and under neither their breasts. The two were discovered by the Edmond TJ Maxx loss prevention team and were arrested before leaving the store.
Officer James Hamm told NewsChannel 4, "These two were actually concealing them in areas of their body where excess skin was, under their chest area and armpits."
The security tags were removed with a knife that was found in Brown's purse.
