Victoria's Secret "Bombshell Fantasy" bra was unveiled in a publicity stunt yesterday in New York City to kick off the annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, happening November 30 on CBS.
Brazilian model Adriana Lima was seen yesterday flaunting the one-of-a-kind $2 million bra - a bargain price compared to other annual fantasy bras from past Victoria's Secret holiday collections.
The 2010 Bombshell Fantasy bra has 142 carats of jewels, including 60 carats of white diamonds (3,000 total) and 82 carats of topazes and sapphires.
The 2009 Harlequin Fantasy bra had 150 carats of jewels, with 2,350 white, champagne and cognac-colored diamonds, plus a heart-shaped 16 carat champagne diamond, and came with a $3 million price tag.
The VS 2008 Black Diamond Fantasy Miracle Bra went for $5 million, and was also modeled by this year's model, Adriana Lima.
In 2007, the fantasy bra came as a set with matching thong, garter, bracelet and barrette costing $4.5 million.
The 2006 special holiday bra went for $6.5 million. And in 2005, the fantasy bra went for a whopping $12.5 million, but sported a 101 carat diamond that dangled from the center of the bra, between the 18K white gold and jewel encrusted cups.
According to Canada.com, Lima said the Bombshell Fantasy bra was designed by Damiani Jewellers, and is "special and not just flashy."
"It's very comfortable, very comfortable," Lima remarked.
