article imageGameCrush helps gamers battle loneliness Special

A new website allows those who are avid video game enthusiasts to battle their loneliness by playing games with girls online. Meanwhile, women can earn a little bit of cash during these rough economic times. This new website is called GameCrush.
It is unknown whether video game consoles create loneliness in the gamer’s life, or that they are lonely in the first place. Some psychologists agree that they use video games as their reconciliation for socializing and hanging out with friends.
Nevertheless, it was only a matter of time when technology buffs would create a website that would allow the lonely gamer to interact with women, or men, online, while playing Starcraft, Grand Theft Auto, Halo, God of War, or even backgammon – yes backgammon.
This week, GameCrush.com began operations that give video game players the opportunity to choose a “playdate” to interact with during playing time. Each player is charged $0.60 per minute, plus tip, to play with a girl.
The “players” can find “playdates” in four different areas: Arcade, The Academy, The Arena and The Edge. Each one varies in style. For example, the arcade zone is for casual game playing and the edge is sort of a red light district.
However, in an e-mail to Digital Journal, Eric, an employee of GameCrush, stated that “nudity is against our code of conduct and terms of service” and a player can get booted from the site if they become too “raunchy.”
Furthermore, anyone can join as either a player or playdate, “not just women.” He also added that “there is a ranking system based [on] user feedback and activity on [this] site.”
Despite some people seeking out sex chats or unacceptable behavior, Eric said that the response has been “overwhelmingly positive” and “We have received almost no complaints and many thanks.”
Want to earn a little bit of cash? Create an account, upload an image, establish a profile and, according to the GameCrush employee, “There are various ways to get paid, including direct deposit and Paypal.”
