Toronto - A Toronto Transit Commission bus driver was attacked Friday evening by a man with a knife in the Brimley Road and Steeles Avenue East area of Toronto.
Toronto Police Services report that a while a 50-year-old bus driver was operating a TTC bus Friday evening in the east end at 7:38 p.m,. a man boarded the bus. The man and driver had a dispute over the fare. At this point the man pulled a knife and stabbed the driver in his hand and leg. The man then fled the scene on foot.
On Saturday Wei Yang, 40, was arrested and charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, assault with a dangerous weapon, weapons dangerous and carrying a concealed weapon.
