Washington - The American Crossroads Watch, a group that monitors American Crossroads, which has been dubbed as the "Shadow-RNC," has issued an offer of $100,000 for anyone who has information leading to the arrest and conviction of Karl Rove.
“Wanted -- $100,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Karl Rove or any principal of American Crossroads for money laundering, election rigging or felony campaign finance violations.”
This is the latest flyer distributed by American Crossroads Watch (ACW), an activist organization that monitors the group that has pledged to spend $50 million to help members of the Republican Party to win elections this November and in 2012.
American Crossroads, who have Karl Rove and former RNC Chairman Chairman Ed Gillespie as key political advisers, states on its website:
“Under Obama/Reid/Pelosi, America is growing government, not jobs. Our cabinet secretaries have to beg foreign countries to buy our debt, and our deficit-financed “stimulus” funds are being used to prop up bloated state government payrolls, not create the economic growth we so desperately need.”
ACW alleges that American Crossroads was established to “sideline” the Republican National Committee and receive tens of millions of dollars in “secret funds” from corporations in order to “manipulate” elections in key states across the country.
“We are seeking additional information about the unethical and illegal activities of American Crossroads and its principals to assist in criminal probes we have requested of the Department of Justice,” the advertisement concludes.
