Toronto - The Toronto International Film Festival enters its 35th year and the Hollywood stars in town to promote their latest motion pictures. This means Torontonians are able to catch a brief glimpse or wait for hours to see their favourite star.
The 35th annual Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) kicked things off on Thursday and for 10 days crowds can wait in anticipation – as they do every year – to see the celebrities in town to promote their latest projects.
Famed Hollywood actors such as Robert DeNiro, David Schwimmer, Colin Firth and Ben Affleck have already been spotted in Toronto. Other stars either expected to be in town or are already in town are Woody Allen, Clint Eastwood, Robert Redford and many others.

On Saturday in Yorkville - the central hub for Hollywood sightings – Digital Journal had the opportunity to catch photos of Academy-Award winning actress Hillary Swank and the cast of the hit Canadian television series “Degrassi High: The New Generation.”
The large crowd caught Swank leaving the Windsor Arms hotel and the magnanimous group of people saw the Degrassi cast pose for photos for their fans, including the little girls with deafening screams.
The Toronto International Film Festival runs for 10 days from Sept. 9 to Sept. 19.
