FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller said that officials searched cargo, luggage and the entire aircraft. There was no credible threat found,
according to Eimiller.
An investigation into finding the person responsible for making the threat is underway. The FB and LA police bomb technicians and canine handlers rendered the aircraft’s conents.
A police spokesperson says that the police were contacted at around 7 pm, and they were told of the alleged threat to Thai Airways Flight 794. The plane landed as scheduled at 8:45 pm. More then 18 fire trucks and fire engines were already at the airport waiting for the plane to land.
The bomb threat emerged when the plane was in the air still, according to Thai press reports. According to the Bangkok Post, they say that an official on the aircraft said that a cabin crew member found the threat written on a mirror in the toilet.
