Caracas - A Venezuelan politician is offering people an opportunity to win breast implants in a raffle. For less than $6 a ticket they have a chance to have the costly surgery done at no charge.
Gustavo Rojas, of the country’s opposition First Justice party, is trying to raise funds for his election campaign.
According to The Telegraph, Rojas told the EI Universal newspaper: "The raffle is a financing mechanism, nothing else. It's the doctor who will do the operation, not me."
Breast enlargement is very popular in Venezuela.
In 2007, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez spoke out against the trend of giving girls breasts implants for their 15th birthdays.
Venezuelans vote in members of the National Assembly on September 26.
