Cincinnati Bengals star receiver Chad Ochocinco has just received another fine, this time its for tweeting during a preseason game.
Reuters reports that Ochocinco violated NFL guidelines by using an electronic device during game time.
Within 90 minutes of kickoff, no player is allowed to use personal electronic devices, for the obvious potential for cheating and other ethical issues that could arise.
But Ochocinco, a star off the field of his hit VH1 reality dating show "Ochocinco: The Perfect Catch", paid no attention to the rule as he tweeted during an exhibition game.
The affable, playful receiver has had the flag thrown before on his before, including several instances of fines for over-the-top end-zone moves in celebration of scoring.
At the end of last year, Ochocinco was handed down
another large fine- $20,000 that time- for a mid-game joking gesture. During a replay, as referees were making their decision, Ochocinco waved a single dollar bill at referees.
This conduct, deemed "unbecoming" by the NFL, resulted in the fine.
