These days, practically every human being on planet Earth knows the mystery behind what really happened to the survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. But, believe it or not, there are still more secrets to be uncovered. Most of the major ones were first revealed in May, when Lost, the television pop cultural phenomenon, signed off the airwaves for the last time after six mercurial seasons. Since its highly-anticipated premiere in September 2004, Lost immediately began revolutionizing prime time television, bringing big-screen adventures home with a powerful story of survival. With the epic story having come to a close, feelings about it's ending have effected fans, the show's actors and even it's several creator – which they discuss throughout the hours of fascinating Bonus Features on Lost: The Complete Sixth and Final Season + Lost : The Complete Series (which features every show beginning with the plane's crash in Episode One through the shocking revelation of why each of them are on the island at the close of Season 6.

For one of the primary players of Lost, Alberta-born native Evangeline Lilly, the end of her tenure as “Kate” on Lost began to fill her with mixed emotions, even before the final episode had been shot. “Lost has changed my life in way too many ways to count,” the 30-year-old beauty admits. “I still have a family that adores me. I still have friends who I count on back home, but I have made so many great, life-long friends that I'm going to miss seeing every day. And, I've learned how to become an actress from some of the best directors and other actors in this business. But, the way the story was written, it's time to wrap up everyone's journey. And, I think we all feel like it's time for us to move on, while we are still a show that a lot of people love to watch. Change is tough, especially when it's time to literally move on and find something just as great and challenging to do.”
With the release of Lost: The Complete Sixth and Final Season, loyal viewers of Lost and faithful followers of the show's creators, J.J. Abrams, (and Executive Producers) Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse can one again relive every episode in the landmark final season, discover the fate of each character and find out the answers to long-pondered mysteries from the previous seasons -- as well as brand new secrets revealed for the first time on Blu-ray and DVD disc. “There is so much that went on in the last season,” admits Lilly, who spoke by phone to select members of the press from her soon-to-be-former home in Oahu, Hawaii, just weeks before the last trio of episodes – the finale of the show, if you will – had finished shooting. “I was always working so much, that I never had the time to watch every episode – 16-long-days will do that to you,” explains Lilly on why the Sixth and Final Season + The Complete Series would be important for her to possess of completely understanding Kate. “Also, I would love to have the collections for the whole 'sideways' life we were living. It was some brilliant acting and incredible effects going on during that time. And, I think I need to see the Season just to make sure I understand everything Kate was doing, because I didn't always know until a while after I did it,” she says with a laugh.

Listening to you today, it sounds like you are experiencing so many different emotions as it's starts to sink in that this is the last season of Lost? “Oh yeah, and it changes from one minute to the next. Right before one of our interviews together, I whispered to my cast members, 'I am going to cry like a baby when this show ends.' (laughs) It's become so nostalgic for us to look back over six years and have grown up together and grown up in front of the public together. It's been so intense that for it to come to an end is going to be life-changing.”
There were some wild internet rumors that there might be a Lost spin-off. But the executive producers swear that would never happen, because they said that as of May, the story of Lost is definitely over. So, Evangeline, we won't be seeing you in a show like The Real Housewives of Lost Island? “No, I don't think so. (laughs) I think what people don't realize in the industry is just how intense it is to film this show. I don't think we've had one guest actor come to our set yet who hasn't spent a day in the jungle and looked around afterwards and gone, 'How do you guys do this every day?' Because it's exhausting. So I think, for a lot of us actors, when this show ends, we're all just going to hibernate for at least a small portion of time to recoup because we're exhausted.”

How do you deal with the hard work while you're still making the final episodes? “Sangria Thursdays.(laughs) It's a Season 6 tradition. It's the last season. It's like the year you get out of school and everything kind of goes a bit haywire in class.”
How did you end up becoming an actress? “It kind of chose me. I have to say that I was fortunate enough to be one of those stories where I was actually scouted on the street by somebody and actually refused to go to their agency. Then I was approached on different occasions and finally caved and said, ‘Okay, I’ll try it. I’ll try it and see what happens.’ And then about a month-and-a-half after my very first audition, I won the role of Kate on Lost.”
Looking back, what would you say was the most memorable moment of Lost for you – just as a viewer? “I think, for me, the most memorable moments on the show happened in the first season, and it was the episode where Claire gave birth and Boone died.”

Why did you find those two events so memorable? “I'll never forget watching that episode, because, to me, it just sort of culminated everything that we were talking about on the show and everything that the show represented in these two very simple, very natural and very sort of heroic moments on the show. And I don't often cry watching my own show because I've read the script and we've filmed everything and we know the story inside and out. But I watched that episode and I cried, and I just -- I remember thinking, 'This is something that I'm proud to be a part of.'”
What makes it enjoyable to still play Kate after six seasons? “I think one of the best things about this show as an actor is you constantly get to try on a new character even though you're playing the same character. And we're not bored yet, and we're in Season 6. That's unheard of for television actors.”

Another great thing about doing Lost must have been the chance to live in Hawaii, while you were filming it. How are you going to feel about leaving paradise after six years? “I think that on a certain level, living in paradise has been a little bit of a prison for us, because we don't have a lot of freedom. It's not like working in Los Angeles where you can go out to Las Vegas for the weekend and take off and get away. When we're on the island, we're on the island, and we're stuck and we can't go anywhere. So I think there's this innate sense of freedom that's coming along with it.”
Didn't you have a lot of trouble adjusting to life in Hawaii during that first season? “Oh yeah, I'd get island fever pretty bad. I was used to wandering a lot. I was used to living in the vast country of Canada where you get in your car and you drive and you’re in the middle of nowhere. But, in Hawaii, you get in your car and drive an hour in any direction and you’re going to hit a military base or the ocean. So there is a sense of being a little bit trapped that first year. And, I guess it never went away.”
Do you think you'd ever move back to Canada? “I'm sure I will one day. Like I've said before, my heart is there, and it always will be. I don't know when I'll move back, but I have a real positive feeling I'll end up there eventually – if not sooner. It's home.”

What do you think your life will be like after Lost – both professionally and personally? “It's like something Terry (O'Quinn) said, there's sort of a juxtaposed feeling that's going to come when we actually are faced with the reality of the show being over. The show gives us an immense amount of freedom that possibly harder to see when you're actually in it. I think we're aware that how we feel right now, anticipating the end, is that we have this beautiful, big new horizon in front of us, or how I feel, but potentially the reality of that horizon isn't quite as romantic and sexy as it looks from this position.”
Have you ever been lost? “I have. I get lost all the time in my car as in I’m trying to find somewhere, and I can’t find it for the life of me. But actually lost, where you’re panicked to the point where you think, 'I really don’t know where I am and I’m in trouble' – no.” (laughs)

Horror legend George A. Romero brings the dead back to life once again in another blood-soaked, gruesome installment of the "Dead" series on both special Blu-ray and DVD packages. The newest film from Romero (for the really braindead of you who don't have a clue who this filmmaking legend really is, Romero is the twisted creator of the original, very first cinematic installment of the Night of the Living Dead franchise), Survival of the Dead picks up where Diary of the Dead left off -- in a nightmarish world where humans are the minority and zombies rule. Set on an island off the coast of North America, two powerful families maintain an impression of order in the wake of a zombie epidemic. But as the inhabitants slowly die off, the two clans become sharply divided: the O'Flynns believe that the undead must be destroyed without exception, while the Muldoons insist that afflicted loved ones be kept "alive" until a cure is found to bring their relatives back to their human state. The Two-disc Ultimate Undead Edition DVD and single-disc Blu-ray Bonus Features: “Walking After Midnight” documentary; Fangoria Interviews with Romero; Introduction by Romero; Audio commentary; HDNet: A Lookout at Survival Of The Dead; “Sarge” Short Film; 13 behind-the-scenes shorts; Storyboard Comparison: Heads On Stakes; and "How to Create Your Own Zombie" bite.

$5 A Day
A smart, hysterical and always self-reinventing motion picture, $5 A Day is a hilarious and original comedy about balancing relationships on a shoestring budget. $5 A Day, a story of a father and son struggling with the cost of rebuilding their relationship. Directed by Nigel Cole (Sundance Festival winner for Saving Grace) and featuring an award-winning cast, $5 A Day is an exuberant comedy – a joyous tour of the heart (on both Blu-ray and DVD). Nat (Christopher Walken) is an eccentric conman – a hustler content with a life of schemes and underhanded deals. He lacks one thing -- a reconciliation with his son, Flynn (Alessandro Nivola), who has ceased trusting his father long ago. But Nat’s time is growing short: he has been diagnosed with a terminal illness. True to form, Nat cons Flynn into joining him in a cross country journey to an experimental medical facility. Short on money, but not on imagination, the two realize that to reach their destination they can spend no more than $5 A Day. They come up with increasingly ridiculous schemes to keep within their budget -- but there is a distance of emotion as well as miles to cover. Could they possibly be on an unexpected path towards a father-son reunion? With a sparkling cast that also includes Sharon Stone, Amanda Peet, Peter Coyote and Dean Cain, $5 A Day is a comedy rich in character and charm. It is a happy reminder that relationships may take their toll, but what we get in return is priceless. DVD + Blu-Ray Bonus Features: Director and Cast interviews; Still galleries and Trailer.

NCIS: The Complete Seventh Season
It's hard to believe that NCIS was once conceived as simply a spin-off of the Navy ratings hit JAG and was given a 50/50 chance of making it past its first season. Well, that shows how much those guys who allegedly know how to pick ratings winners really know how to do their jobs. (Not much!) Preparing to start airing the first episode of its Eight Season, next month, NCIS has hit the Number One spot on the viewing charts so many times, it has spawned a charttopper show of its own with the overnight sensation NCIS: Los Angeles – starring LL Cool J, Chris O'Donnell and Oscar-winner Linda Hunt. It only goes to prove you can't keep a great premise, superb writing and fantastic acting down, even if you tried. Although Sasha Alexander's reappearance in the new TNT series Rizzoli & Isles has reminded many of us how much we really missed her on NCIS as Kate (who was killed off by Ziva's half-bro in Season 3), she doing great teamed up with Angie Harmon. So, cheers to Sasha. But, back to this crime procedural series, it's still fantastic, and Season 7's was the series' most explosive one yet. This season, the tight-knit group of NCIS agents face their most personal cases to date, as familiar faces, family members, and old adversaries complicate their lives and jobs. Also this season, Special Agent Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) is pursued by not one, but two beautiful women, who each have their own secret agenda. Co-starring Michael Weatherly, Cote de Pablo, Sean Murray, Pauley Perrette, Rocky Carroll, and David McCallum, TV's most-watched crime show returns with a vengeance. You won't want to miss one second of this season. (Only on DVD) The featurettes: “NCIS: A Sound Investment,” “Lucky Number Seven,” “Home Sweet Home: Creating The Gibbs House,” “The Future Is Now: NCIS Meets The Jet Pack,” “Gimme Two Steps: Staging The Bar Fight,” "Celebrating Episode 150,” “Personal Effects” and “Cast Roundtable.” Also, Cast & Crew Commentaries on selected episodes.

90210 – The Complete Second Season
TV is a funny animal. As we have seen over the past two seasons, investing in reboots of former hit shows are risky propositions -- at best. For every hit like 90210, you have a Melrose Place redux struggling in the ratings. It's not that the daughter of Melrose Place isn't entertaining and wildly uber-dramatic, it just can't seem to find its audience. Which not only goes to prove that you can go home a second time if every element of the reboot is a perfect as the original, but you have to be able tp zero in on the folks who used to love the original, as well as the generation that followed. Luckily, with 90210, the actors, story-lines and the drama, plus the fans that grew up on the first 90210 are in love with the new adaptation and have convinced their own teens at home that it's a series they are going to dig it, too. So, basically, that's why 90210 is one series that's continues to score one creative touchdown after another. In 90210, a new generation arrived in Beverly Hills, and despite their attempts to turn up the heat at West Beverly, Annie and Dixon demonstrated they could fit in anywhere, kind of. Annie and Dixon continue to enter a seductive world of friendship, rivalry, sex and scandal in the most notorious zip code in America. For hook-ups, break-ups, drug busts and betrayals, 90210 is the place to go for the ultimate in guilty pleasures!
