School will be starting soon for Ontario teens. In Oshawa one high school was broken into and a fire set inside this week. School will still begin on time.
The police were called to Central High School located on Gibb Street in Oshawa on Monday just before 3 a.m. for a break and enter. It was determined that suspects entered the school and set a fire inside the school. The Oshawa Fire Services extinguished the fire.
No arrests have been made. Additional damage was found in several areas of the building including the main office and auto shop. Photos on the walls have been damaged, glass partitions and doors were smashed and several computers were thrown around. It is estimated that the damage is about $5,000.
