The Ricoh Coliseum was rocking this afternoon as tunes from the likes of AC/DC and Van Halen rang out while skaters and aerial acrobatics performed.
With lighting that sizzled along with the music one could almost forget that the show was free along with admission to the CNE this year. This is not your average fairgrounds show.
To be honest, I am not a fan of ice shows. I find them a bit cheesy for my tastes. That opinion may just have changed. The performances from singers to skaters to acrobatics were top notch.
Using rock and roll skaters whizzed by performing spins, jumps and plain out breathtaking stunts to showcase the music. In center stage acrobats twirled above the ice adding even more excitement.
The show is playing twice a day at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. during the CNE. It is well worth attending at least once. It is free with the price of your admission.
