The householder called police after finding the man partway through the window of the home, with his legs dangling outside.

The Telegraph, a Scotland Yard spokesman said: ''At 7.30am we were called to reports of a male found stuck in a downstairs window at a house in Tomlins Grove, Bow.”
He said that it appeared the resident had come down and found the man stuck half in and half out.
Members of the London Fire Brigade removed the window frame to free the 36-year-old man, who was unhurt and has been arrested on suspicion of burglary.'
Bethnal Green police are investigating the incident.

Scotland Yard reported that Paul Joseph Keenan, an unemployed 36-year-old from Bow, had been charged with burglary.
