Cleveland - The "Clam Bark" is a fundraising event that will include dinner, drinks, a silent auction, musical entertainment and much more.
The Northeast Ohio SPCA No-Kill Pet Shelter is hosting what is certain to be a wonderful and fun event on September 25th at Bratenahl Park, in order to raise funds and continue their outstanding work in the area of animal rescue. The "Clam Bark" is to be held in an outdoor tent featuring a clam bake with soft drinks and beer (for those of age) as well as a cash bar for other beverages. This event will also include a silent auction and a Chinese raffle with musical entertainment, all for the nominal cost of $50 per ticket. The "Clam Bark" will last from 5 PM to 9 PM, with dinner being served from 6 PM to 8 PM. The contact person for this event is Anita who can be reached at 216-351-7387. The Northeast Ohio SPCA No-Kill Shelter is a non-profit charity that receives no government financial assistance and is a respite for homeless and abandoned animals. The shelter places about 2,500 animals yearly, many which otherwise may not survive without intervention. Shelter hours of operation are Monday and Tuesday from 10 AM to 5 PM, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10 AM to 7 PM, and Wednesday and Sunday from 10 AM to 4 PM.
